Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Parpple ("we", "our", "us") and our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or accessing the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Parpple. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age;
  • You can legally form a binding contract;
  • Your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. User Account Responsibilities

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information;
  • Keep your login details confidential;
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use;
  • Not create multiple accounts or impersonate others.

3. Acceptable Use & Community Guidelines

You agree NOT to:

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse any user;
  • Upload harmful, violent, explicit, or illegal content;
  • Use the Service for solicitation, scams, or commercial purposes;
  • Misrepresent your identity or intentions;
  • Use bots, automation tools, or data-scraping technologies.

4. Safety Disclaimer

Parpple does not conduct criminal background checks on users. You are solely responsible for your interactions with others. Exercise caution when meeting someone offline.

5. Subscription, Payments & Renewals

  • Premium features may require a paid subscription.
  • Payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers (Google Play Billing).
  • All subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled through the Google Play Store.
  • We do not handle or store your payment information.

6. Refund Policy (Google Play Requirement)

All refunds for purchases made through the Google Play Store must be requested directly from Google, subject to their refund policies. Parpple cannot issue refunds for transactions processed by Google Play.

7. License to Use the Service

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use Parpple for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service;
  • Use our trademarks without permission;
  • Interfere with the Service’s security, servers, or network.

8. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you upload. By posting content, you grant Parpple a global, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content within the app for operational purposes.

9. Privacy Policy

Your use of Parpple is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with Google Play Data Safety requirements. The Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share your information.

10. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms or community guidelines;
  • Engage in fraudulent, harmful, or illegal activities;
  • Pose safety risks to other users.

11. Account Deletion (Google Play Mandatory Requirement)

You may delete your account at any time through the in-app Delete Account option or by emailing support@parpple.com. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days except when required for legal or security purposes.

12. Third-Party Services

Some features may use third-party integrations (analytics, ads, payment services). Parpple is not responsible for the content or policies of these third-party services.

13. In-App Advertising (If Applicable)

Advertisements shown in the app may be personalized based on limited data such as device information or Ad ID. You can reset or opt-out of Ad ID-based personalization from your device settings.

14. Limitation of Liability

Parpple is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service;
  • We do not guarantee matches, interactions, or successful outcomes;
  • We are not responsible for user-generated content.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service indicates your acceptance of updated Terms. A new "Last Updated" date will always be shown at the top.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of your country of residence, unless superseded by mandatory regional laws.
