• Device & app information (device model, OS version, device identifiers).
• Usage and analytics (pages visited, features used, timestamps).
• IP address and approximate location derived from IP.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive data from social login providers (Google/Apple), advertising partners, analytics providers, and identity/fraud prevention services.

2. Sensitive Permissions Disclosure (Google Play)

Parpple requests certain device permissions only for specific, described purposes. You can revoke optional permissions in your device settings.

• Location (Approximate/Precise): Used to show nearby matches and improve recommendations. Optional.
• Camera: Used to take or verify profile photos.
• Photos/Media/Files: Used to upload profile pictures and media.
• Notifications: To inform you about messages, matches, and updates.
• Contacts / SMS / Call Logs: Not accessed by Parpple.
• Advertising ID: May be used for analytics, fraud prevention, or personalized ads. You may reset this ID in your device settings.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract (to provide the Service).
• Legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement).
• Consent (for optional features such as location and marketing communications).

Limited profile information (name, age, photos, interests, and approximate location) is visible to other users as part of the Service.

We share data with trusted providers who help with hosting, analytics (e.g., Google Firebase), payments, identity verification, moderation, and advertising partners. These providers are contractually required to protect your data.

5.3 Legal & Safety

If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your profile, photos, messages, and related data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal compliance or fraud prevention.

Parpple is intended for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly and terminate the account.

10. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / DPDP)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including:

• Accessing your personal data;
• Correcting inaccurate data;
• Requesting deletion of your personal data;
• Withdrawing consent;
• Requesting portability of your data;

11. Account Deletion (Google Play Requirement)

You may request permanent deletion of your Parpple account at any time.

How to delete your account

• In-app: Go to Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
• Or email: support@parpple.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request.

What happens after deletion?

Your profile, photos, messages, matches and other personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Certain logs and records necessary for fraud prevention, legal compliance, or to fulfill obligations may be retained as permitted by law, but will be segregated and not used to re-identify you for user-facing features.

12. International Data Transfers

We may store and process information on servers located in various countries. By using the Service, you consent to transfers of your data to countries that may have different data protection laws. We put in place appropriate safeguards where required by law.

13. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party sites and services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read third-party privacy policies before providing information.

14. Changes to This Policy
